General warranty conditions

We provide a 10-year guarantee on all MÖVE frames from the date of purchase against processing and material defects. For all original parts, with the exception of suspension forks, MÖVE provides a two-year guarantee (or the respective statutory warranty obligation) from the date of purchase. Suspension forks are subject to the respective manufacturer's guarantee terms. A two-year guarantee applies to paintwork and lettering.

Transfer of guarantee

The guarantee is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective frame, fork or defective part. Whether a repair or replacement is carried out is at the sole discretion of MÖVE. The guarantee applies exclusively to the original purchaser and is not transferable for MÖVE bikes purchased up to February 2021. For bikes purchased from June 2021 onwards: if the bike is sold used within the first three years, we grant the new owner a guarantee of up to 3 years on the frame from the original purchase. Proof of the original purchase is required (in the form of the invoice or in the form of another dated sales document that identifies the MÖVE bike using the frame number).

exclusion

The warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, defects, malfunctions or failures resulting from misuse, negligence, improper assembly or maintenance or the installation of third-party parts. Batteries are expressly considered to be wearing parts. The manufacturer is not liable for accidental or consequential damage or damage caused by improper handling. The warranty does not include labor costs for repairs or replacement of parts. The user bears the risk of personal injury and property damage if the bike is used at any time for stunt riding, mud riding or similar activities that do not correspond to normal use (see Terms and Conditions Section 6.2). Damage caused in connection with such activities is expressly excluded from the warranty.

Rights & Obligations

This guarantee grants the customer certain rights, which may vary from country to country. The customer's statutory rights remain unaffected by this guarantee. The information in our product information - namely that relating to the specifications, models, dimensions, performance and weights of the bicycles - is approximate, non-binding information and does not contain any binding assurances or a binding contractual offer. In addition, claims for tort against MÖVE are excluded in type and scope, to the extent permitted by law.
